At Petroseas, we recognize our responsibility to protect the environment and minimize the environmental impact of our activities within the offshore and energy industry. We are committed to conducting our operations in a responsible and sustainable manner while complying with all applicable environmental legislation and client requirements.
This Policy applies to all activities, operations, and services performed by Petroseas and is applicable to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners working on our behalf.
Our objective is to prevent pollution, reduce environmental impact, and continuously improve our environmental performance.
To achieve this, we will:
- Comply with all applicable environmental legislation, regulations, and client requirements.
- Prevent pollution and minimize emissions, waste, and environmental incidents.
- Promote the efficient use of energy, water, and other natural resources.
- Reduce, reuse, and recycle materials wherever practical.
- Protect the natural environment and minimize impacts on ecosystems, flora, and fauna.
- Consider environmental aspects when planning and carrying out our operations.
- Raise environmental awareness through training, communication, and employee engagement.
- Encourage suppliers and subcontractors to adopt responsible environmental practices.
- Monitor our environmental performance and identify opportunities for continual improvement.
- Maintain effective emergency preparedness and response procedures to minimize environmental impacts in the event of an incident.
Environmental protection is a shared responsibility. Every employee and contractor is expected to work responsibly, report environmental concerns, and actively contribute to reducing our environmental footprint.
This Policy is communicated to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners and is publicly available.
